Sundaywalk through Altenburg
In einer großangelegten Sonderausstellung widmet sich das Schloss- und Spielkartenmuseum erstmals dem 1705 gegründeten Altenburger Magdalenenstift.
Der Gerhard-Altenbourg-Preis 2025 wird an den Künstler Dieter Appelt verliehen. Seit Jahrzehnten zählt er zu den bedeutendsten deutschen Fotografen sowie Objekt- und Aktionskünstlern.
Die Sonderschau "Sonst nichts Neues" behandelt die vollständig erhaltenen Feldpostbriefe von Ulrich Ditzen, dem jüngeren Bruder des berühmten Schriftstellers Hans Fallada.
